GPE and FAWE brought a training viewpoint into the campaign and renewed focus that is strategic.

On November 24-25, the African Union Commission, African First Ladies, CSOs, traditional leaders and multilateral partners convened in Accra, Ghana, for the next African Girls Summit to finish kid Marriage and Other Harmful Cultural methods Against Girls under the theme “Enough with all the Silence”. The big event had been preceded with a youth summit collecting a huge selection of youth from over the continent.

The report “Educating Girls and Ending Child wedding: A Priority for Africa” posted because of the entire world Bank sufficient reason for funding from GPE, was presented in the Summit, stimulating debate regarding the motorists and effect of girls marrying early while the role of training.

Efforts initiated by the African Union
